Zalka Csenge Virág

AASG members consulted with The Ark staff on the lineup for The Ark’s 2012 Storytelling Festival and we are tickled that several of the tellers we suggested were available.  We’re also thrilled to be bringing Willy Claflin and his sidekick, Maynard Moose, to Ann Arbor two days early for programs at several local public schools.  In addition, we’ve arranged with the Ann Arbor District Library for Willy to conduct a workshop called The Rhino and the Valley Girl at the Main Library on Saturday, February 18 at 10:00 a.m.  Free and open to the public.   Suggested age group - 6th grade through adult

The Rhino and the Valley Girl

A workshop on voice.  We'll growl, whisper, whine, mumble, bellow, sing, and in general make a joyful noise exploring the use of our voices.  Participants will experiment making sound effects and talking in alien languages.  A good time will had by all.

Lyn Davidge

Lyn is an active member of the Ann Arbor Storytellers’ Guild and a favorite at our annual Tellabration concert.  Lyn’s original stories are often built around everyday adventures or exceptional people.
